What Are Upgrades?

At their core, Upgrades are exclusive privileges or enhancements designed to elevate your investment experience on Citizen Capital. They are available in limited quantities and can be seamlessly incorporated into the Citizen Capital investment process. To keep our community informed, replenishment of these limits will be consistently announced on the Citizen Capital Discord channel.

How Can I Obtain Upgrades?

For those looking to leverage the benefits of Upgrades, they can be exclusively purchased using $BYTES.

Currently, there are two primary Upgrades on offer:

Guaranteed Allocation

Looking to secure your place in one of our coveted investment opportunities? By utilizing this NFT Upgrade during the investment's Pending period, you're empowered to book your allocation for the upcoming Raffle/FCFS phases. This booking aligns with your maximum allocation, capping at $5,000, and remains valid for a 24-hour window from the time the investment opens. But be swift! If the allocation isn't filled within these 24 hours, the booking will be voided, and the reserved allocation will return to the general pool. Works per investment.

Tips:

• Timing of Guaranteed Allocation: Remember, the Guaranteed Allocation can only be activated during the PENDING phase. It's off-limits for FCFS. Keep this in mind to optimize your investment strategy.
• Power Up Your Allocation: If your base max allocation is under $5,000, first trigger the Increased Allocation upgrade. Afterward, activate the Guaranteed Allocation for the maximum benefit.
• 24-Hour Investment Window: Once you've activated the Guaranteed Allocation, you have 24 hours to complete your investment on the Citizen Capital website. Aim to finalize your transaction at least 15 minutes before this window closes to account for any potential transfer delays.
• The Connection of Booking: Out booking system aligns with your Guaranteed Allocation. If a booking expires, it concurrently voids the corresponding portion of your Guaranteed Allocation. Multiple bookings are permissible. However, each additional booking subtracts from your total Guaranteed Allocation. Warning: Clearing your cache erases your bookings. This action can cause you to forfeit your allocation and therefore part of your guaranteed allocation. Proceed with caution!
• Tactics for FCFS: If you're swift, you can potentially secure more allocation in FCFS than you've guaranteed with your upgrade. Input a higher investment amount, and the system will first use up your Guaranteed Allocation before tapping into the general allocation pool.
• 24-Hour Expiry Rule: If you don't invest within the 24-hour window, your Guaranteed Allocation will expire. Any allocation you didn't use becomes available to the rest of the community.
• Full Allocation Notification: Should you receive a message indicating that the allocation is full, don't fret. Your upgrade hasn't been consumed, leaving you an opportunity during the Unlimited phase.

Increased Allocation

Eager to elevate your commitment to a specific project? By leveraging this Upgrade during the Raffle and FCFS (First Come, First Serve) phases, you can enhance your maximum allocation by an extra $2,000. Remember, this perk is exclusive to the Raffle and FCFS periods only. Works per investment.

Stackable: Yes. You can obtain multiple Upgrades and use a few of them at once to increase your maximum possible allocation for specific investments.
